Bitcoin instead of education? Robert Kiyosaki’s provocative advice to students
Financial guru and bestselling author Robert Kiyosaki is making headlines with another bold Bitcoin prediction. The “Rich Dad Poor Dad” author is once again urging his followers on platform X (formerly Twitter) to invest in Bitcoin – and is going so far as to portray education spending as less sensible.

In his post, Kiyosaki cites the assessment of Michael Saylor, the founder of MicroStrategy and ardent Bitcoin supporter. Saylor predicts a BTC value of an incredible $13 million. Kiyosaki agrees with this assessment and explains: “The current Bitcoin price is $90,000. If this target is reached – and I believe it will – then 0.1 BTC, which you can buy today for around $9,000, will make you a millionaire in the future.”
In his post, the business author emphasizes that smart investments like Bitcoin are more profitable in the long term than traditional educational expenses, such as a university degree. “Why spend $50,000 on an MBA that will be worthless in the end? Invest in Bitcoin instead – that’s what I do too,” says Kiyosaki.
Robert Kiyosaki with a bold thesis: Become a millionaire through BTC?
With such statements, Kiyosaki hits a nerve, especially in the USA, where the debate about student loans has been dominating the headlines for months. President Joe Biden recently took steps to partially cancel these debts. Around ten billion dollars in loans have already been forgiven. But further plans for comprehensive debt relief failed in the Supreme Court, which classified the action as unlawful.
For Kiyosaki, one thing is clear: wealth does not depend on academic degrees. Instead, he relies on the potential of smart financial decisions. “Education doesn’t make you rich, BTC does,” is his core message. It remains to be seen whether Saylor and Kiyosaki are right with their prediction. But the discussion about the future of Bitcoin and the criticism of the traditional education system is likely to gain further momentum as a result of such statements.
