Monero (XMR) is the only cryptocurrency where every user is anonymous by default. The sender, recipient and amount of each individual transaction is hidden using three technologies: hidden addresses, ring signatures and RingCT.

Since every transaction is private, Monero cannot be tracked. This makes it a true fungible currency. Merchants and individuals accepting Monero don’t have to worry about blacklisted or “corrupted” coins.
